Abstract: GNSS signal quality evaluation is of significant importance in the design and operation of the satellite navigation system. The characteristics of navigation signal are introduced briefly and then the methods of evaluation for GNSS signal stability are presented based on the monitoring data. With the technique of Matlab, the results of evaluation are elaborated based on three aspects of data: the original pseudo-range data, the fitted residual error of pseudo-range and the standard deviation of the residual error. These results validate the correctness and feasibility of the methods, which is helpful for ensuring the continuity and reliability of GNSS signal.

Key words: GNSS; signal quality evaluation; pseudo-range
