Abstract: In this paper the anti-multipath performance of the CMMB(China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting) signal is studied based on the CMMB system structure. The anti-multipath performance is derived in detail for the signals with or without CP(circular prefix), and the performance of CMMB system in case of typical dynamic multipath channel is simulated by using Matlab7.1. The results show that the CMMB system is powerful in resisting the multipath effect, and the bit error rate for receiving CMMB signal is improved by two orders of magnitude compared with that for receiving ordinary OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) signal when the SNR is 30 dB, being helpful to improve the precision of navigation /positioning.
