Improvement of some constructions of hoisting and hanging system for BPL long-wave transmitting antenna

Abstract: The hoisting and hanging system is an important component of the BPL transmitting antenna. In this paper, the functions and working principle of the hoisting and hanging system are introduced, the evident defects of the fixed pulley block in the original construction design are analysed, and the improved constructions of the fixed pulley block are introduced in detail. The facts proved that the improved construction designs for the fixed pulley block are reasonable and secure.
