Time Control Method for Long Wave BPL Time Service System

Abstract:The core of the project of modernizing the BPL long wave time service system is to substitute one solid-state transmitter for the two vacuum-tube transmitters. In view of the principle of solid-state transmitter and the characteristic of Loran-C pulses timing control, the time control method for BPL time service signal is presented. The control precision of the transmitter output is estimated. The results show that the time control precision(within±100 ns)accords with the demand.
