Abstract: In order to meet the requirements to miniature rubidium frequency standard, an ultra-miniature rubidium vapor cell frequency standard has been designed. The design of this ultra-miniature rubidium vapor cell frequency standard is introduced in this paper. With the new-designed miniature lamp, integrated filter technique (IFT) and optimized electronic circuits, the volume of this frequency standard is successfully downsized to 140 cm3, and the weight is 250g. In steady state, the power dissipation is only 7W, and the short-term stability is superior to 1.5×10-11/(1 s≤≤100 s).
