Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100039, China) Abstract: According to the requirements of the time synchronization in the local area network field, an NTP time server system with high-precision and high-throughput is designed, in which the STM32(microcontroller) and W5100(single chip with network interface) are mainly used as the key parts to build the hardware platform. This NTP time server system provides the high precision time information for the clients so as to realize the time synchronization between client and server. The experiments and analyses show that the system is stable, and is able to realize the network time synchronization. Key words: network time protocol(NTP); time synchronization; time server
