Improvement of cycle slip detection in TurboEdit algorithm

Abstract: The TurboEdit algorithm, which is adopted to detect and repair the cycle slips in GIPSY(GNSS- inferred positioning system), is introduced, and on the basis of this introduction the prerequisiste for cycle-slip detecting in the TurboEdit algorithmis analyzed. The moving average is used to replace the overall average of all the data prior to the epoch in detecting the cycle slip with the wide-lane combination algorithm, and in the ionospheric combination algorithm the difference between the values of carrier phase ionospheric combination for adjacent epochs is used to detect the cycle slip so as to avoid the pseudorang ionospheric combination with higher noise. The experimental results show that the improved algorithm is more effective thanthe original TurboEdit algorithmfor the badobservation condition, the blind-spots in TurboEdit algorithm, and high cycle slip rates.
