Abstract: A design of dual rubidium clock hot standby system with a no-phase-perturbation switching method is proposed and realized in order to meet the continuity requirement of the time/frequency signals in the timing system. The method of the frequency and phase synchronizationand the no-phase-perturbation switching between the master clock and the slave clockare described. Thesystemcomposition, the key control program and the test result are given. By adopting this proposed design the time difference between the output signal of the master clock and that of the slave clock is within±0.55ns, and the signal switching without phase perturbation is realized, meeting the requirements of engineering application.
