Abstract:The values of G/T (the ratio of the ground antenna system gain to the receiving system noise temperature), which is an important technical index for the earth stations, have been measured for several stations by using the method of separately measuring the G value and T value. The results show that the values of G/T   for 4.193 GHz are 31.11, 30.57, 31.34, 31.93, 31.42 and 31.26 dB/k respectively for the six earth stations, which are up to the standard of F2 class earth station, issued by INTELSAT.
