National Time Service Center(NTSC) Designated Personnel to the Attend Munich Satellite Navigation Summit and Made Highlights

During Mar. 13th to 15th, the 10th Munich Satellite Navigation Summit 2012 was held in Munich, Bavarian state, Germany. Lu Xiaochun, Li Xiaohui researcher and Doc. He Chengyan from NTSC, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) attended the summit.

Theme of the summit is “GNSS and Safety”. The summit specially set the “BeiDou Conference” with researcher Lu Xiaochun, from NTSC, as the sub-summit president. Lu Xiaochun Introduced the newest development of BeiDou Satellite Navigation System(BeiDou system), BeiDou system’s opening and compatible, stable and reliable character, as well as its global covering principle; She also introduced the stance of GNSS development by BeiDou system, brought forward the iGMAS, BADEC, signal conjunction, system time lag monitoring etc. international cooperation initiative, and expressed her hope for the attendants’ continuous attention and more acknowledge about BeiDou system in her address. 

Li Xiaohui and He Chengyan Gave speech on “GNSS Time Interoperation” and “GNSS Space Signal Quality Monitoring and Assessment” respectively, and the speech content aroused attention of the experts and scholars participating in the conference.

In the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit, NTSC also made a series of highlights such as, to jointly hold Satellite Navigation Summer Vocation Training Course, space signal quality monitoring and assessment international translocation, GNSS system time lag monitoring international translocation etc. with international first-class university.
