On May 13, 2010, Zhang Wei, secretary general of APSCO（亚太空间合作组织）, and 8 representatives from the member countries paid an exchange visit to NTSC. Guo Ji, director of NTSC, Wu Haitao, deputy director, and directors from relevant research offices and scientific researchers attended the meeting.

Deputy director Wu Haitao gave secretary general Zhang Wei and others an introduction to the history and current development situation, and work progress of NTSC in the field of Time Frequency and Satellite Navigation. Li Zhigang, a researcher from Orbit and Time Transfer Dept  , introduced the CAPS related situations for the visitors. Additionally, both sides had extensive exchanges on CAPS popularization and other issues. The meeting was closed in an amicable atmosphere.

 After the meeting, Yang Xuhai, director of Orbit and Time Transfer Lab of NTSC, researcher Li Zhigang, etc. accompanied secretary general Zhang Wei and other visitors to visit the Time Keeping Lab., Quantum Frequency Standards Lab., Orbit and Time Transfer Lab., Navigation Lab., and other relevant labs of NTSC.

Before the meeting, director Guo Ji extended his welcome to sectary general Zhang Wei and other’s visitors, both sides exchanged their souvenirs and took photos to mark the occasion. The visit paid by APSCO delegation deepened mutual understanding and communication, and plays a tremendous role in promoting further cooperation between the two sides.
