From July 16th to July 18th, 2018, the first “Initiative cup” of future technology innovation contest of the Chinese Academy of Sciences came to the end in the Zijing Mountain Villa, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. The team project named “small-size high-performance erbium-doped fiber femtosecond comb”, which was leaded by Professor Jiang Haifeng, National Time Service Center won the award from 120 teams. At the same time, the staff of National Time Service Center participated in the award ceremony at the Shenzhen Civic Center on 19th July, and attended the special project exhibition on the 19th to the 20th.
The award show that self-designed optical frequency comb has been recognized by experts who fully affirmed and praised the development of femtosecond optical frequency comb with independent intellectual property rights. It also promoted to advertise our research institution National Time Service Center (NTSC) to more industries.
The first “Initiative cup” future technology innovation contest was initiated by the Science and Technology Commission of the Military Commission, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The project covered physical, biology, chemistry, auto control, machinery and relevant disciplines.
