Li Xiaohui, researcher of National Time Service Center (NTSC), was recently honored with the title of “Advanced Science Popularizer of Excellence" by Popularization Committee of Chinese Astronomical Society, joining the 23 astronomers winning this award.

As director of Time and Frequency Measurement and Control Laboratory, he has long devoted to the researches on time frequency science and GNSS technologies. In the meantime, Li also commits himself to the spread and popularization of science and gives keynote speeches to undergraduates and middle school students as well as in “Shaanxi Library Forum" on invitation. His compiling of The Story of Time, Archives on Navigation 1, etc. is well received by readers.
