I.Blinov, Deputy Director General of Russian Metrological Institute of Technical Physics and Radio Engineering (VNIIFTRI) and Director of Main Metrology Center of the National Service for Time and Frequency, and N.Koshelyaevskiy, Director of Timekeeping Laboratory of Main Metrology Center of the National Service for Time and Frequency, visited National Time Service Center (NTSC) of CAS for academic exchanges from July 21 to 24, 2014. Professor Guo Ji, Director General of NTSC, professor Wang Yulin, Deputy Director General of NTSC, professor Lu Xiaochun, Deputy Director General of NTSC, and researchers and postgraduates from Timekeeping Lab, Quantum Frequency Standard Lab, Time Scale Lab of NTSC attended the academic exchanges. 

      After the academic exchanges, Guo Ji and I.Blinov co-signed “Protocol of Intention on Collaboration Between VNIIFTRI and NTSC”, expressed good wishes to carry out science and technology cooperation on the basis of bilateral benefits in the fields of time-frequency and GNSS timing, including timekeeping, remote time comparison and measurement, development and application of primary frequency standards, determination of earth orientation parameters (EOP), GNSS timing and interoperability, GNSS time monitoring as well as data exchange and sharing.
