On May 26,experts from Institute of Navigation (ION) visited NTSC and gave academic reports for young researchers.

Professor A.J. Van Dierendonck from AJ Systems introduced the development and evolution of ionospheric model with the development of GNSS, proposed a solution for ionosphere (not merely GPS scintillation monitoring), and made a prediction on the future development of ionospheric model.

Greg Turetzky, the Chief Technical Officer of Intel, made an authoritative prediction on the development of global satellite navigation technology and the market in the next 10 — 20 years. The model showed that the mass consumption devices installed with Beidou modules will become the flagship products in the market, and Bluetooth navigation devices will become the latercomers surpass the formers.
