Three of Brazilian National Observatory scientists visited NTSC from 14th April to 16th April 2014. An academic meeting was hosted on 14th April. In this meeting, Brazilian National Observatory scientist Dr. Selma presented a report “Time System and Time Service in Brazilian National Observatory” and discussed with Professor Dong Shaowu, Professor Qiao Rongchuan and other NTSC scientists, Professor Dong Shaowu presented a report “Timekeeping Activities at NTSC” which briefly introduced the timekeeping works in NTSC. After the meeting, three Brazilian experts visited NTSC Timekeeping Lab and the BPM/BPL time transmission station in Pucheng. Dr. Selma hope Brazilian National Observatory and NTSC could cooperate in timekeeping and time transfer activities in future.
