On Nov. 06, in Nanjing, Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Radio, Film and Television held an Achievement Appraising Meeting of “High-Accuracy Satellite Digital Television Time Service System” which is accomplished by National Time Service Center, Chinese Academy of Science and Transmitting Station, Jiangsu Broadcasting Station. Dou Zhong, Deputy Director of NTSC, Shen Pengjian, Deputy Director General of Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Radio, Film and Television, and Zhang Jianping, Deputy President of Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Radio, Film and Television, etc. attended the meeting.

The project was accomplished with the support of “A Study on Digital Satellite Television Time Frequency Transmitting”, sub-issue of “A Study on High-Accuracy Time Frequency Transmitting and Measuring” which is a key project of Chinese Academy of Science in the aspect of knowledge innovation.

Hua Yu, the project leader of NTSC delivered a technical report on the appraising meeting. After interpellating and analyzing the defense of the project group, the expert group believed the achievement has reached international leading level. The project has passed the appraisal with consensus. Meanwhile, the group received recommendations for improving and optimizing the project to endeavor to fit into the digital television series standards, promoting the achievement transformation and application.
