Guo Ji, Wang Yulin and Liu Jianrong from NTSC Won Outstanding Contribution Award of Chinese Astronomical Society

On Oct. 30, 2012, the Commemoration Meeting for the 90th Anniversary of Chinese Astronomical Society was grandly held in Nanjing Zhongshan Hotel. More than 200 people, including leaders, specialists and scholars from China Association for Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jiangsu Provincial Government, National Natural Science Foundation of China and astronomical institutes, representatives from provincial and municipal astronomical societies, were represented at the Meeting.

The members of China Astronomical Society, who have made great contributions to the development of astronomy in the ninety years, were commended on the Meeting. “Top Honor Prize of the 90th Anniversary”, “The 11th Zhang Yuzhe Prize of Chinese Astronomical Society”, “The 3rd Huang Shoushu Prize of Chinese Astronomical Society” and “Outstanding Contribution Award in Astronomy of the 90 Anniversary of Chinese Astronomical Society” were awarded.

Guo Ji, Wang Yulin and Liu Jianrong from NTSC won the “Outstanding Contribution Award in Astronomy of the 90 Anniversary of Chinese Astronomical Society” and were praised in the Meeting.
