In the morning of Dec. 8th, a group of leader---the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) president and Party Leadership Group Secretary Mr. Bai Chunli and Mr. Zhan Wenlong, the Deputy president of Nation Academy of Science came to inspect the National Time Service Center (NTSC).

Accompanied by Guoji, the Dean, Wang Yulin, Party Committes Secretary, Wu Haitao, Deputy Dean, and Mr. Zhang Shougang of the NTSC, President Bai Chunli group inspected the CAPS orbit measuring station, main control station, time& frequency standard laboratory, quantum frequency standard research office, and time-custom system study office. They listened to the researches on related research field from each department with attention and had a cordial talk with the researchers and consultation of the research progress. President Bai mainly examined researches on the “Innovation 2020”, the strategic positioning of the “One Positioning, Three Key Breakthroughs and Five Key Cultivation Directions” Plan, and the key breakthroughs in time standard keeping, quantum frequency standard and satellite navigation.
