On June 20, Ma Xirong, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Bureau of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, together with his delegation visited and inspected NTSC of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Guo Ji, Director of NTSC, extended warm welcome to the delegation group from Ningxia on behalf of NTSC. Zhang Shougang, Deputy Director of NTSC, introduced with details to the delegation group the development of the centre, scientific and innovative research and outstanding contributions made to national or local economic and social growth and so on. Both sides undertook intensive discussions and thorough communications on the cooperation of mutual concerns.

Ma Xirong introduced the industrial development status, industry features and demands of enterprises for scientific achievements in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and he highly appreciated the scientific research capabilities of NTSC and the achievements it has made. He pointed out that NTSC should exert scientific advantages and strengthen the cooperation between NTSC and Science and Technology Bureau of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, hoping that transference and application of such scientific achievements could be promoted mutually to upgrade the industrial structure adjustment in Ningxia.
