4 Projects of National Time Service Center Winning Subsidization by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2010

In 2010, 4 projects of The NTSC under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) won the subsidization by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), with a total funding amount being 3 million Yuan. Among the 4 projects, “CV-based Study on New Method for Time Service with Satellite” by researcher Li Xiaohui won the support as a key project; “Study on Time Synchronization in Space-based Synthetic Information Network” by researcher Lu Xiaochun and “Study by Using Atomic Coherence on Boson Clock Frequency Measurement Mechanism in Optical Frequency Standards” by researcher Chang Hong was funded as general projects; and “Study on High-precision Digital Frequency Measurement Methods based on Low Sampling Rate” by professor Liu Ya was supported by the Science Foundation for Young Scholars. The NTSC totally submitted 24 projects to the NSFC for the funding in its centralized acceptance process, and 17% won the subsidization.
