Recently, the list of this year’s first batch of “Yong Foreign Scientists Program” of CAS was announced after upon the evaluation and approval of the Talent Leading Group and experts of CAS. Doctor George Hobbs, who cooperatively applied with researcher Chen Ding from NTSC, obtained the financial assistance.

Doctor George Hobbs and his PPTA group have already begun cooperation in fields like Millisecond Pulsar Timing & Time Scale with researcher Chen Ding from NTSC. After the program is started, he plans to visit China soon, which will certainly deepen the cooperation, and definitely promote the further development of research and cooperation & exchanges between the two sides in this field, and give impetus to the two sides to yield fresh fruit in the field of Millisecond Pulsar Timing and Navigation Application.
