Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology adjusted the domestic counterpart working groups of study groups of telecommunication standard department and wireless development under the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and set up a working group in each study group depending on operational needs.

The NTSC has been selected as the leader unit of Scientific Business Group – Working Group of Standard Transmission of Time Signal and Frequency (ITU-R7A), and the leader of this working group is assumed by researcher Dong Shaowu of NTSC.
