Representatives from NTSC Attend theTenth Meeting of the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems

The Tenth Meeting of the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems(lCG) hosted by Office of Space and Advanced Technology United States Department of State from 1 to 6 November 2015 in Boulder, Colorado. More than 300 representatives from United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs(UNOOSA),the United States,China, and other global and regional navigation satellite systems providers represented at the meeting as well as other countries and organizations associated with satellite navigation. As the main unit of ICG multilateral platform in China, deputy director Lu Xiaochun, associate professor Yuan Haibo, assistant professor Wang Jin and Li Wei from National Time Service Center(NTSC) attended the meeting.

In the compatibility and interoperability working group meeting, Lu Xiaochun give a presentation named China GNSS Haoping Radio Observatory and Monitoring Results. And in the reference frames, timing and applications working group meeing, Yuan Haibo give a presentation named The Realizaiton of Beidou TimeScales.

The meeting approved Lu Xiaochun to be co-chair of the sub-working group of interoperability and service standards, which means asignificant breakthrough for NTSC in the critical working group closely related to the GNSS construction and development, laying a foundation for subsequent communication and coordination in promoting the satellite navigation multilateral platform.
