NTSC Obtains the Permission to Sponsor the “International Seminar for Millisecond Pulsar Timing and Application”

In early December, CAS approved and permitted NTSC to apply for sponsoring the “International Seminar for Millisecond Pulsar Timing and Application”jointly with the National Astronomical Observatory in May, 2011, and listed it in the 2011 International Conference Subsidization Program of CAS.

This international seminar is co-sponsored by the National Telescope Center of Australia and the Max Planck Institute of Germany, and invites well-known experts in the field of pulsar research from both home and abroad to act as the members of Scientific Committee. The seminar will open to registration online and issue the notice for the first round of the conference in Jan., 2011.
