Print Dou Zhong of NTSC was awarded as advanced worker of science communication during the eleventh five-year plan by CAS recently. In total, there are 30 people working with popularization of science awarded this time in the Academy.
Mr. Dou Zhong was in charge of works relating with popularization of science on astronomy and time frequency of Shaanxi Provincial Astronomy Society and NTSC for many years as an executive member of science popularization union on network of the Academy. Under his leadership and planning, Shaanxi Provincial Astronomy Society and NTSC had made brilliant achievements in science popularization and were awarded for several times with good social reputation.
