Print On June 11, experts organized by the Bureau of Hi-tech Research and Development under CAS carried out site assessment on CAS Key Laboratory of Positioning and Time-keeping in Precision Navigation in NTSC. On the morning of June 11, the expert group listened to the work report given by Researcher Wu Haitao, Director of the Lab. and academic reports on typical achievements given by Researcher Yang Xuhai, Lu Xiaochun, Li Xiaohui, Hu Yu and Hu Yonghui from the Lab., and asked for an explanation of the report content. In the afternoon of June 11, the expert group conducted an on-spot inspection on the Key Laboratory in the company of laboratory leaders.
Upon material examination and comprehensive discussion, the expert group thought that the Laboratory was clear in target, accurate in orientation, distinct in characteristics, reasonable in overall research orientation arrangement, domestically leading in main research achievements and internationally advanced in partial achievements. The expert group also put forward opinion about the future development of the Laboratory, hoping that it could further strengthen basic research and beef up the cultivation and introduction of talents while shouldering national key tasks.
NTSC Director Guo Ji, Li Zhigang from Academic Committee of the Laboratory and Researcher Bian Yujing attended the site assessment meeting. Main researchers in the Laboratory participated in the site assessment activity.
