Print Dr. ZHANG Shougang from National Time Service Center (NTSC) under Chinese Academy of Sciences has been awarded a research grant from National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars (NSFDYS) with his project “Novel Atomic Clock and its Application” in 2010.
Dr. ZHANG is the first recipient of NSFDYS in the field of time frequency. And a total of 200 distinguished young scholars in different fields have received the grants this year.
NSFDYS is established to intensify the training of young scientists and researchers and inspire them to grow up into academic front-runners in world science by undertaking basic research of natural sciences in China.
