A few days ago, Shaanxi Province commended and rewarded those award-winning projects of Science and Technology Prize 2007 in the whole province. Two achievements -- the programs of “Research on the High-precision Time Synchronization Combination” and “Research on Establishment and Maintenance of Joint Atomic Time of China (JATC)” of NTSC under CAS -- won the Second and Third Prizes respectively.
The “Research on the High-precision Time Synchronization Combination” realizes relative high-precision time synchronization through the common view comparison among all timing combinations and the phrase-shifting control technology, and possesses capacities of high-precision frequency calibration and automatic control within the network. Such achievement can be widely used in the electric power system, spaceflight measuring and controlling system, and time & frequency calibrations of systems like finance, communication and transportation.
The “Research on Establishment and Maintenance of Joint Atomic Time of China (JATC)” realizes the reconstruction of JATC via new algorithms of atomic time like numerical integration forecasted by dynamic frequency and de-noising of wavelet, and by conducting researches on technologies of time-keeping of hydrogen-cesium combination and GPS dual-frequency common-view time transfer. It has also laid the foundation for establishing China’s unified standard time by using domestic atomic clock resources when the time was right.
