Dr. Yann Le Coq from France’s Observatoire de Paris Visiting NTSC

     Invited by NTSC Deputy Director Zhang Shougang and Researcher Jiang Haifeng, Dr. Yann Le Coq from France’s Observatoire de Paris had a visit to NTSC from Sept. 28 to Sept. 30 and made a speech titled “Optical frequency combs and ultra-stable lasers, optical and microwave applications”. The seminar was hosted by Jiang Haifeng from Quantum Frequency Standard Laboratory and attracted more than 30 researchers from NTSC to participate

     During his stay, Dr. Yann Le Coq visited relevant laboratories and made in-depth discussions with relevant researchers on such fields as optical frequency comb, ultra-stabile laser, optical atomic clock and cesium fountain clock. He also offered suggestions and advices on the researches works and future development of such fields. In the end, Dr. Yann Le Coq invited NTSC researchers to visit France for further cooperation.
